What is a Florida apostille?

A Florida apostille is a certificate from the Department of State that proves your notarized document is genuine. It is recognized by all countries in the Hague Apostille Convention. The cost starts at $150 per document, including the state fee. If your document is going abroad, you likely need one.

Who issues the apostille?

Only the Florida Department of State issues an apostille for documents notarized in Florida. I do not issue it. I prepare your document, notarize it, and submit it to the state on your behalf. This saves you a trip to Tallahassee.

How much does a Florida apostille cost?

A Florida apostille costs $150 for the first document and $85 for each additional document in the same packet. That includes the $10 state fee, my filing in Tallahassee, and tracked US return. See Pricing.
