What is remote online notarization in Florida?
Remote online notarization in Florida lets me notarize your documents through a live video call instead of meeting in person. You log in to a secure platform, show your ID, answer verification questions, and sign electronically while I watch. The video notarization is $65 in the US or $125 abroad.
Can I notarize documents from abroad?
Yes. Because I am a Florida-commissioned notary, I can notarize your documents from abroad through a secure video call no matter where you are. You need a valid government-issued photo ID and a stable internet connection. The cost is $125 if you sign from outside the US.
What do I need to get started?
- A valid, government-issued photo ID (passport, driver license, or state ID)
- A device with a camera, microphone, and internet
- Your document ready to upload
- An email address for verification
How much does it cost?
The video notarization is $65 in the US or $125 if you sign from abroad. Florida caps the notary stamp at $25 per online act (Fla. Stat. 117.275); the rest is my service fee. I tell you the full price before we start. See the Pricing page.
What documents can I notarize online?
- Power of attorney — notarize a power of attorney online for $65 in the US
- Affidavits and sworn statements
- Consent letters for travel or medical care
- Diplomas and transcripts
- Business documents and contracts
If you also need an apostille for your document to be accepted in another country, I can handle that too. See my Apostille page.
